march market wrap.

hiring momentum holds out against economic doom and gloom.

Well, we blinked and we're a quarter of the way through the year. While the job market was uncharacteristically frenetic through January and February, hiring has now settled into a more thoughtful pace - companies are resourcing with upcoming business goals and pipelines in mind, rather than the earlier 'bums on seats' mentality.

Throughout March we noticed a steady demand for candidates at all levels, particularly across sales, business development, property management, investment management, and project management.

On the talent front, we're happy to report that job seekers are also taking an optimistic if measured approach. They're keen to have genuine conversations about their long-term career goals and understand how their next opportunity fits into their overall career path which makes considered job descriptions and hiring processes key to snapping up the best fit.
